Leicester Junior races are run according to school age:
years 3 - 6 run approx 1 mile
years 7 - 12 run approx 2 miles.
A hare and a tail runner are provided.
Race time is 10.30am.
Junior results are provided, all participants accrue points which may result in a medal at the end of the season depending on number of races run and points accrued.
Minimum age for the senior race is 17. Note your age category is set as of the first race of the season.
Derby/Staffs Junior races are run according to school age:

years 7 - 11 run approx 2 miles.

Both Divisions Individual prizes for both juniors and seniors do not include the last race. For example if there are 6 races in a season we take the best 4 out of the first 5 races. The 6th race doesn't count as we have to order the prizes in advance. However, the last race does count for the senior team prizes.
