Second claim ruling : The ECCU ruling is you can only run cross country for your first claim club.
However, as a closed league you can introduce your own rules and we are a closed league.
Our rule is you can run for your second claim club but you cannot score for the team in front of a first claim member, also you are deemed to be second claim even if your club is not in the league.
You can run as a second claim runner for your second claim club even if your first claim club is in the same league if you wish to, providing that your first claim club agrees. This is mainly because of the amount of Tri clubs we have involved.
The basic reason for this rule is to stop clubs being tempted to bring ringers in and the league being overrun by elite athletes.
